Beam sensors

Honeywell Gent S-Quad beam detectors provide superior detection of fire in premises where conventional and addressable wired sensors are neither technically not financially feasible. The Honeywell gent beam sensors are installed at premises like factories having very huge hall and unusual height of ceiling where traditional smoke sensors cannot sense fire at the right time.

The S-Quad beam sensors are powered with a loop of Vigilon and Nano panels, and it can power up to 16 pairs per loop. Each pair of beam sensor covers a distance of 100 meters without any wiring between sensors. Each beam has 6 built-in modes by which selection can be made according to a suitable environment. S-Quad beam provides toughness against sunlight and other light sources. In order to test the beam sensors remote key switch can be used before hanging the devices at height or other complex places. To strengthen the signal, the beam sensor uses a LED array for accurate alignment and it can be commissioned with ease.

The optical lens design is intended to minimize build up of dust to reduce the maintenance and cleaning required. Optimum sensitivity is maintained by automatic gain setting triggered at the beam during alignment

The S-Quad beam is compatible with early versions of the Vigilon Beam using the S-Quad programming base, avoiding the need to upgrade tothe latest control software.

S-Quad Beam is supported by a comprehensive range of accessories and mounting brackets. It is equipped with one angle Bracket for difficult applications, allowing wide angle adjustment up to +/- 30°, Parallel bracket for standard applications adjustable to +/- 15°. Light shield is available for installation in areas where direct sunlight cannot be avoided.
